Maintenance Management

The Maintenance Management Area, for ordinary and/or extraordinary maintenance, of Fluentis ERP has been designed to provide organizational support to all Service-Oriented companies, typically responsible for managing a fleet of systems, on which various types of interventions need to be carried out.

The Maintenance Management Area is a complementary part of the Project Management Area, and is particularly integrated with Serial Number Management, as well as with the Fixed Assets module in the Accounting Area.

Who can benefit from Maintenance Management?

Scheduled maintenance can be managed for owned systems, such as company work centers, tools, and/or assets that the company possesses and periodically requires maintenance to ensure their proper functioning.

With Fluentis ERP, it is also possible to manage non-owned systems (typically boilers, elevators, generating sets, etc.).

The procedure allows the definition of various types of maintenance contracts based on the agreements made with the customer, such as warranty maintenance, spare parts maintenance, and maintenance including a predefined number of interventions, etc.

Management of Systems

The system master data allows precise identification of the type of object or tool on which the subsequent maintenance will be carried out, whether ordinary or extraordinary. From the system master data, it is possible to know the owner, the location, the area where it is located, the resource usually assigned to the maintenance, as well as the commercial conditions related to the intervention to be generated.
If the system refers to the maintenance of an internal fixed asset or the production area, the procedure is able to engage the work center and suspend it for the duration of the necessary maintenance.

 

Management of Services / Materials

Regarding the system, it is possible to indicate the set of maintenance services to be carried out, in order to automate the issuance of service requests, from which the planner can subsequently carry out the scheduled interventions.

The materials list represents the historical composition of the system, with the possibility of indicating the serial number related to each of them.

 

Management of Locations

With Maintenance Management, especially when the system is not owned by the customer or was not purchased by the customer, it is possible to chronologically indicate all the locations where the system has been over time (e.g., the rental of forklifts).

Typically, when it comes to systems present in buildings, for example, built by a company and subsequently sold or rented to other entities, it is necessary to record the sequence of ownership in order to have full awareness not only of the location, but also of the current actual owner.

 

Creation of Service Requests

In Maintenance Management, in bulk mode, it is possible to generate the list of service requests for each selected system. This allows the operator to accelerate the issuance of the scheduled order in a single operation.
